I love the idea of being “Fit and Healthy”

I love the idea of being “Fit and Healthy” but I’ve had this concept wrong for so very long. Health is not just body fat percentages and lean muscle mass. Health is by definition “The state of being, free from illness or injury”.

An illness I see year in and year out is girls believing they are fat and over weight when they are not. We can blame media, society and all the rest but the truth is it starts with our own beliefs.

There’s one life to make the most out of it all, there’s no start over button or passing the buck at the end. If we want change out of life it’s on us to make it happen and it all starts with our beliefs.

Please be clear I’m all for weight loss and looking better but not at the continued expense of your Health and Well being. I cannot urge you enough, if you have an eating disorder, body image issues or are ill from just the thought of eating, start with changing your daily thinking.

This is not a quick fix but if your day is mostly consumed by “I can’t, I don’t deserve, “why me”, poor me” or any derivative of this. This is your life and path.

Catch yourself where it all begins in your daily thoughts and set yourself the goal of having only positives if only for just one whole day.

This will not help everyone and if you are feeling that lost and undeserving. Seek help, it will be both the most difficult and most healing step you will take
